MY
STORY
I grew up surrounded by saguaros, heat, and suburban moms in Phoenix, AZ. Went to Veritas Preparatory Academy for middle and high school where I wore a plaid skirt, took a two hour philosophy class everyday and happily missed most of the typical high school experience. Then I spread my wings and went off to Illinois Wesleyan University and got a BFA in Acting and a minor in Dance (and Psychology!).
My inner nerd adores performing Shakespeare (Texas Shakespeare Festival and Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival) because of the text analysis and c'mon the poetry, I mean WOW. But, I also love being in musicals, high-kicking, tapping, choreographing, and composing whether it's a Gregorian style chant for a war play or funky music on my guitar for a TYA musical.

The Latest
In June 2023 I released my third song onto Spotify! Whoo! This latest is a sped-up and clean version of my last release, "haha". It's a song about how hysterically wrong my life was going in 2020, and I hope it makes people laugh and feel less alone when things are seemingly crumbling.

I've been writing songs since I was 6 and have composed professionally for various theaters in my career thusfar. I also perform my originals regularly in bars and coffee shops in NYC! It is a different type of scary to sing my literal heart songs to strangers but I've been blown away with the responses of people who were touched by my music. Plus, it has been a wonderful practice in bravery.
